Definitions
"Airtickets-us," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Airtickets-us, a registered DBA of TravelFirst LLC. "Approval" means written authorization, recorded verbal authorization, or authorization through an electronic payment form. Wherever these Terms refer to your "authorization" or "approval" of a charge, any of these forms satisfies that requirement.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By contacting Airtickets-us, submitting a travel request, or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
Airtickets-us is an independent travel agency. We provide flight research, written cost quotes, booking coordination, and ticketing facilitation through accredited partners. We do not own or operate aircraft. We do not issue airline tickets directly. We are not an airline representative. Your contract of carriage is with the operating carrier.
3. Service Fee Disclosure
Airtickets-us charges a separate service fee for the advisory and booking coordination work performed on your behalf. This fee is always a separate line item, disclosed in your quote before any payment is collected. It appears on your card statement as AIRTICKETS-US. It is not part of the airfare and is not set by the airline.
4. Authorization Requirement
No payment is processed without your Approval. Before any charge, you will be provided a full cost breakdown including the airfare amount and charging party, the service fee amount, the total, and the expected statement descriptor(s). After your Approval, the amounts stated cannot increase. Any additional charge requires a separate Approval.
5. DOT 24-Hour Cancellation Rule
For eligible bookings made at least seven days before the scheduled departure date, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking confirmation for a full refund of airfare and the Airtickets-us service fee, with no penalty. 6. Ticketing Partner Disclosure
Airline tickets are issued through ARC- or IATA-accredited ticketing partners using airline reservation systems. Airtickets-us does not issue tickets directly.
7. Fare Conditions
All fares are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing airline. Change fees, cancellation penalties, baggage policies, and refund eligibility are determined by the airline's fare rules, not by Airtickets-us. We will advise you on applicable fare conditions before you provide your Approval.
8. Price Accuracy
Fares are subject to availability and may change until payment is processed. If a fare changes between the time of your quote and the time of your Approval, we will notify you with a revised quote. No charge will be processed for an amount greater than what you have authorized.
9. Traveler Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that all passenger names, travel dates, and contact details provided are accurate, and for verifying that all travelers hold valid travel documents including passports, visas, and any required health documentation. Airtickets-us is not liable for denied boarding or entry resulting from missing or incorrect documentation.
10. Fulfillment
Service is considered rendered upon delivery of your e-ticket confirmation to the email address on file. Most bookings are issued within several business hours after cleared payment, although processing times may vary.
11. Airline Schedule Changes
Airlines may modify schedules, aircraft types, routes, operating carriers, or other travel details after booking. Airtickets-us is not responsible for airline-initiated changes but will assist customers in working with the airline or issuing ticketing partner.
12. Payment Disputes
If you have a concern about a charge, we ask that you contact Airtickets-us first so we can investigate and resolve it. Many booking, refund, and schedule-change issues can be resolved directly and quickly without involving your card issuer. Contacting us first does not affect any rights you may have with your card issuer.
13. Billing Disputes and Escalation
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first at support@airtickets-us.com or +1-877-667-8080. We acknowledge billing disputes within one business day and provide a written resolution or status update within five business days. You retain the right to contact your card issuer if the dispute is not resolved to your satisfaction.
14. Call Recording
Calls may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance, training, fraud prevention, authorization verification, and dispute resolution purposes.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Airtickets-us' aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the service fee paid or $500. Airtickets-us is not liable for airfare, taxes, or fees charged by airlines or ticketing partners, airline schedule changes, flight cancellations, force majeure events, or carrier decisions made after ticket issuance.
16. Seller of Travel
TravelFirst LLC (operating as Airtickets-us) will obtain and maintain any Seller of Travel registrations required by applicable law before conducting transactions requiring such registration.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of New Jersey.
